TOP 10 SONGS IN ONDO STATE (AUGUST 2017 EDITION)

Yes, our monthly music chart is back. After the end of the registration and nomination for this year’s edition of the annual Ondo State Music Awards, popularly known as The OSMAs, our normal activities on OSMA TV continue. All the songs on our July edition did not get a chance to feature in this month’s edition, maybe because they last the promotional quality, who knows? They have given 10 new spaces to 10 new songs and we are also very happy about that. Check out the reviews of our top 10 songs for this month.

UNSTOPPABLE BY ISSYMSK FT. K-WEST (PROD. BY TIZ_STAR)

After the success of skidoo dance which earn him a “Song of the Year” nomination in this year’s Ondo State Music Awards, IssyMSK dropped this his late last month and its surely another club banger. Thou it was not able to make it to our list last month, it was not also nominated maybe due to his late release, but this month, he has his space. This is another successful production of Tiz_Star after the success of the monster hit, Go Gaga. K-west was not also left out of the unstoppable prowess of the song. The song is really unstoppable. Watch out for its Industry Nite.

SLAY MAMA BY ALAGAPIDRU (PROD. BY TIMMY Y)

The DJ Khaled of Ondo State Music will always have a spot on out top 10 chart with different hits. Check out our past charts, you will for yourself what am talking about. Contrary to what he has been doing in the past, he changed his concept and orientation on this jam to give us a vocal related cypher, bringing together various singers in the Ondo State Music Industry to deliver this master piece. Produced by the Timmy Y, The Magic Finger. Expect more hits from the regular customer, Alagapidru.

GIMME LOVE BY YUNGROSS FT MFB (PROD. BY KEZYKLEF)

Dope delivery, dope concept, dope attitude, well detailed voice, love tune at its peak, great use of lovable lyrics. What more can we say to describe this masterpiece? The promotion is superb, the trends on social media is second to none. Yungross teamed up with the self-acclaimed “boy from the south” to deliver this classic tune. Expect more from Yungross. Good production from Kezyklef (thou, its not a familiar name).

BULA BY DR. CRUDE (PROD. BY DR. CRUDE)

Money Sweet o. That’s the slogan of this hit maker (both on production and recording). Dr. Crude gives us hope that we can do better than our counterpart in Lagos when it comes to delivery in production. Although “Bula” is a cover song, but who says a cover song cannot be recognized if it can compete with or better than the original?

I WANT TO RAP BY OVUEMAX FT. JENNIFA (M&M BY PITAR PYPAR)

After the success of the hit track, “fresher” which already earned him a nomination for “Song of the Year” in this year’s Ondo State Music Awards, Ovuemax went ahead to record a monster hit with Seriki Poly, but that is a story for another day because the song is not yet out; Ovuemax decided to do a refix of Jennifa’s I want to rap song and it came out to be a hit. You have to download and listen to this song to know the reason why it earned a spot on our chart.

MA FIMILE BY LD (PROD. BY BLAQMAN)

I think this are the first recognized music duo we have in Ondo State. They recently performed at the last Glo Muisic Tour and they nailed it. Ma Fimile is a brand new single you all have listen too. This song will give you a different feeling about music, am not saying the brand is strange to the system.

CAC BY ZINWESTTA FT PASTOR KEU (PROD. BY PITAR PYPAR)

It not our fault for bringing back this song to this chart. This particular August 2017 chart gave us the chance to pick a song from our April 2017 chart and another from May 2017. So CAC won it for April.

OSMA ANTHEM BY CC RECORDS (PROD. BY TIMMY Y)

While OSMA Anthem won it for May. Best vocal performance ever.

O L’AGBARA BY HADJI CONTAINER FT. SANVELLY (PROD. BY DR CRUDE)

Download, listen and be the judge.

DAKUN BY K-DON FT SANVELLY & DHEZZY (PROD. BY JBASS)

Download, listen and be the judge.

See you next month.
